Add North’s OBC polyethylene is an engineered filament that allows you to print lightweight, chemical resistant and extremely durable parts.
OBC polyethylene is suitable for many applications. It has outstanding durability and layer adhesion. The printed surface is very smooth to the touch and provides good looking detail.
As the first polyethylene-based construction material for 3D printing, this revolutionary high-performance filament brings polyolefin properties to 3D printing. Its semi-crystalline structure allows for excellent z-axis properties in printed parts, and its exceptional chemical resistance enables new applications for 3D printing.
OBC Polyethylene, with all Add North fillets, are manufactured in Sweden and have a diameter tolerance of ±0.025 mm.
OBC Polyethylene is available in reel sizes of 700 grams with diameters of 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm.
