DESCRIPTION
Add:north – Rigid X is a carbon fiber reinforced PETG filament that combines the excellent heat and UV resistance of normal PETG.
Heat resistance increases by about 10 to 20 °C, making it the ideal material for a wide range of demanding applications, such as automotive parts and more.
Rigid X is very easy to 3D print. Thanks to a wide range of settings you can achieve maximum layer adhesion and a nice surface finish without distortion!
Due to the higher print temperatures, starting at 245°C, we recommend a full metal nozzle. Rigid X is a highly abrasive filament that requires a hardened steel nozzle or equivalent. Nozzle X works very well for printing all add:north abrasive filaments.
- Recommended slice settings in Cura, Simplify 3D and PrusaSlicer.
Rigid X, with all Add North fillets, are manufactured in Sweden and have a diameter tolerance of ±0.025 mm.
Rigid X is available on 500 g and 1000 g reels with a diameter of 1.75 mm.
