The 3DPower ASA filament is an ideal choice for printing models that are constantly exposed to outdoor weather conditions. ASA is characterized by high mechanical and temperature resistance. The durability of 3DPower ASA filament prints is similar to those made from ABS, but the printing process itself is easier. What’s more, 3DPower ASA does not require a closed chamber when making small to medium sized prints.
3DPower ASA is a high-quality filament designed for use in extreme outdoor conditions. Thanks to its excellent UV resistance, high mechanical strength, and temperature resistance up to ~90°C, this material is ideal for printing parts that will be exposed to prolonged atmospheric conditions.
Compared to ABS, ASA offers significantly better resistance to external influences and lower shrinkage during printing. This makes it easier to work with, especially when producing small and medium-sized elements – even without the need for a closed chamber.
3DPower ASA filament features excellent interlayer adhesion, good chemical resistance, and the possibility of additional processing, including sanding, painting, and drilling. This makes it ideal for creating strong and precise parts for outdoor use, technical components, and household items subjected to harsh operating conditions.
Compatible with most FDM 3D printers, 3DPower ASA offers a balance between reliability, ease of printing, and durability.
Each spool is delivered vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber to keep the filament in optimal condition.
